“As a pediatric dentist who is also a father, I know how very important it is that a child feels good about visiting the dentist. I myself had very positive dental experiences as a child and teenager. I received quality care by friendly dentists who cared about me. They were very professional – but also fun to be around. So unlike many kidz, I never developed a fear of the dentist.

“It is my mission to provide the same type of care to my patients. I consider myself my young patients’ dental coach. I offer them the same type of advice I give my own kidz and the same gentle care, as well. I want to help create a generation of nonphobic dental patients.

“Simply put, Iowa Pediatric Dental Center is a fun, positive environment. And it’s a great feeling when a child walks into my office and says, ‘This is the coolest dental office ever.’ However, nothing gives me greater satisfaction than when a child leaves my office with a smile on their face.”
